Eugene,

That is a great song by Brad Paisley and your role in your daughter’s life lives in it.

Don’t think I’ve told you this story before.

I knew a gentleman who raised a family of 4 (2 kids were his, 2 kids not his).

He was a simple, but very hard-working man.

His dream was to own a new car, buy a house, and own a cottage.

None of these dreams ever happened.

He lived to be 92 years old and was nicknamed King George by those who were in his life.

He taught his children to respect women and respect authority.

He didn’t have much to give and died without any assets.

However, he gave the 2 kids (that weren’t his) the most priceless gift of all.

He gave them his last name.

One of those kids was me.

His name was George Carlo Spano, but the only name I knew him by was Dad.

Perry.
