Cory Giordano

Cory provides strategic advice and assistance in the drafting of leave to appeal applications, responses, replies, factums, and motions in courts of appeal across Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. He holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Ottawa, and Political Studies degree (B.A. (Hons)) from Queen’s University.

During his articles, Cory participated in numerous criminal trials at the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice. He has conducted civil motions and negotiations for clients in both Ottawa and Toronto.

Cory has appeared as counsel before the Superior Court of Justice, co-counsel before the Ontario Court of Appeal, in the Supreme Court of Canada, and is Ottawa agent and counsel/co-counsel in a number of Leave to Appeal Applications at the Supreme Court of Canada.

A well-played left-handed electric guitar can usually be found in Cory’s office.
